Privacy Notice

This notice explains how AvrupaDent processes the personal data of people who contact us through this website, WhatsApp, email or phone, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, country, phone or WhatsApp number, email address.
• Health data you choose to send: photos of your teeth, X-rays, your description of your complaint and medical history you share with us.
• Travel planning details: preferred travel month and dates you share with your coordinator.
• Website data: cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your request and prepare a written treatment plan: your explicit consent for health data (KVKK Article 6; GDPR Article 9(2)(a)) and steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To plan your appointments and stay in touch before and after treatment: performance of the treatment you request.
• To keep patient records required by Turkish health legislation: legal obligation.
• To measure and improve the website: your consent to non-essential cookies.

Who we share it with

Your data is seen only by the dentists and coordinators who prepare and carry out your treatment, and by service providers we use to run our communication tools and website (for example messaging, email and hosting providers). We share data with public authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers abroad

Some of the communication tools we use may store data on servers outside Türkiye. Where KVKK Article 9 or GDPR Chapter V applies, we transfer data only on the legal grounds these laws allow, including your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

If you do not start treatment, we delete or anonymise your photos and messages within two years of our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you are treated, patient records are kept for the period required by Turkish health legislation.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR you can ask whether we process your data, receive a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing, withdraw your consent at any time and complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or the supervisory authority in your country.
